Home » Sharni Vinson talks All-Female Action Movies, Dragon Blade & Charles Dance

It was great to catch up with actress Sharni Vinson this weekend at London Film And Comic Con, where she was making her very first guest appearance.

Flicks And The City spoke with Sharni last year about her lead role in horror film Patrick, and before that we chatted about her starring role in the super-scary and savagely funny horror flick You’re Next. (To read our 4-star review of You’re Next, click here.)

To see what Sharni had to say in our latest interview, check out our video below!

To give you a taster of what to expect: Sharni chats about her experience at her first London Film And Comic Con, what stage her all-female action movie with Gina Carano and Katee Sackhoff is at, the difference between the all-female action movie (“Untitled Adi Shankar Project”) she’s set to star in and the Sylvester Stallone “Female Expendables” movie, and the differences in action style between Sharni and her co-stars Gina Carano and Katee Sackhoff.

Sharni also talks to us about what it was like working with Charles Dance on the horror movie Patrick, screening Patrick at Sitges Film Festival and appearing with Charles Dance when he received his life-time achievement award.

She also tells us that she’s just shot the action-adventure movie Dragon Blade (out 1st Feb 2015) in China with Jackie Chan, what it was like working with John Cusack and Adrien Brody, playing the Queen of the Roman Empire, what it was like being part of the highest budget Chinese film made to date, how it compared making action horror You’re Next, and learning to play the harp!
