Fans of actor Eoin Macken were treated to a special screening of his new film, Cold, at London’s Genesis cinema this month.
Set in a small Irish village, the darkly beautiful film follows two estranged brothers brought back together by the death of their father only to find themselves embroiled with a mysterious young woman they find abandoned in the moors.
Not only does Eoin play one of Cold’s brothers, opposite his Merlin co-star Tom Hopper, but he also wrote, directed and produced the film, which was shot in an incredible 14 days.
Flicks And The City grabbed a quick chat with Eoin after the screening to find out more.
Check out the video to see Eoin talk about the inspiration behind Cold, the challenges of shooting a film in just two weeks, working with Tom Hopper and Jack Reynor, the influence of films such as Paris, Texas and Three Colours: Blue, and what we can expect from his next film:
