Thor: The Dark World Press Conference

Flicks And The City were at the London press conference for the latest Marvel instalment, Thor: The Dark World, yesterday. Check out our video below to see what happened! And here’s what you can expect in the video:

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston chats about Thor and Loki bromances, brotherly love, why Loki is more popular than Thor, how they always act in opposition to each other, why Loki is such as amazing character to play, and whether Loki is really evil.

Chris Hemsworth also chats about developing his character over the two films and how he and Anthony Hopkins were amazed at the sets on Thor and Thor 2.

Natalie Portman talks about returning to the Thor sequel, working with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and her scrapboook of old photos which are used in her movies with famous actors such as Toby Maguire photoshopped into them!

Christopher Eccleston talks about his character Malekith the Accursed, leader of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim, and how he portrayed a bitter and vengeful elf. Christopher explains what a maniac his character is and how the deleted scenes explain his backstory and the history of the elves when they were defeated by Odin.

Thor The Dark World director Alan Taylor talks about how he balanced the darkness in the movie with humour, deleted scenes with Christopher Eccleston that will appear on the DVD and Blu-ray, and the controversy over the movie running time.

Marvel producer Kevin Feige talks about the Marvel Universe and how The Avengers, Thor, Thor The Dark World and upcoming movies and TV shows such as Agents of SHIELD fit together, and confirms that the new Marvel movies for 2016 and 2017 will be announced in 2014.
