Home » Thor 2 with Chris Hemsworth stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton

At London Film And Comic Con this weekend, Flicks And The City took the chance to speak with British stuntman Bobby Holland Hanton who’s worked on an incredible list of blockbuster movies with an impressive array of top Hollywood stars.

As well as stunt doubling for Chris Hemsworth in Thor: The Dark World and Ron Howard’s new movie Heart of the Sea, which he’s currently filming, Bobby’s also worked on The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Captain Phillips and Maleficent, to name a few.

Check out our video to see Bobby talk about wielding Thor’s famous hammer in Thor: The Dark World, why he thinks Tom Hiddleston is currently one of Britain’s best actors, what he thinks of a potential Loki spin-off movie, plus working with Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor and Christopher Eccleston. Bobby also tells us how much he’s looking forward to Marvel’s Avengers 2 with Joss Whedon in 2014, new villains and whether he thinks Loki should return.

On top of that, Bobby chats about stunt doubling for Channing Tatum in the Wachowskis’ Jupiter Ascending and for Christian Bale in The Dark Knight Rises, working on Maleficent with Angelina Jolie, and Heart of the Sea with Chris Hemsworth.

He also tells us why he’d like to work on Bond 24 with Sam Mendes, and what he thinks about rumours of Daniel Craig wanting more dry humour in future films and Naomie Harris’s Moneypenny shooting more action scenes.
