The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies New Artwork & Posters Released
There are now less than eight weeks until we journey to Peter Jackson’s Middle Earth for a final time (sob). The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will be in UK cinemas on December 12 and to help ramp up excitement Warner Bros have released LOADS of new posters.
The Defining Chapter – as BOTFA has been dubbed – will see Bilbo, Thorin, Gandalf and the gang involved in all out war as The Hobbit edges closer and closer to the darkness of Lord of the Rings. And so the new posters are much darker and grainier. As you’d expect Bilbo and Gandalf both feature as does Thorin whose story will play a major part of the new film.
Check them out below and click on each one to see it full size!
Warners have been asking fans to vote for the characters they wanted to see featured in new posters and so there are also images of Legolas, Tauriel, Thranduil and Bard.
As well as the character posters there are also some new action shots featuring Bilbo and his trusty sword Sting, Galadriel getting a little too close to Gandalf for my liking (I really hope Jackson hasn’t tried to develop some kind of love story between the characters) and even evil Orc Azog gets his own poster.
Whichever poster you prefer, they all help increase our excitement for the final film in the trilogy (or the third film in the sextology)!
“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” is released in UK cinemas 12 December 2014.
