The upcoming horror film The Gift tells the creepy tale of a married couple Simon (Jason Bateman) and Robyn (Rebecca Hall) who unexpectedly encounter an old acquaintance of Simon’s past – Gordo (Joel Edgerton). Initially appearing to only have good and friendly intentions, Gordo bestows himself on the couple, bringing them what appears to be thoughtful gifts. However, things take a surprising turn as Gordo begins to impose on them, turning up uninvited, and leaving threatening messages.
