In DreamWorks animated movie, The Boss Baby, 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin lends his voice to a business-suit-wearing, briefcase-carrying baby, whose arrival at his family’s home causes all sorts of chaos.

In my last video I revealed some fun facts you probably didn’t know about The Boss Baby, but now, in the new video below, I want to let you in on some cool easter eggs, hidden details, and movie references in the film.

The Boss Baby hits UK cinemas on 1st April and US cinemas on 31 March 2017.

SYNOPSIS: DreamWorks Animation and the director of Madagascar invite you to meet a most unusual baby. He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin, and stars in the animated comedy, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby. The Boss Baby is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year-old named Tim. With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages.

  • I’d like to know what, if anything, the numbers on the cab picking up Boss Baby references. 021395 appears to be a date. Just curious. 🙂

  • Is there references to any toy story characters? You have Andy’so hat hanging on the wall and the toy clown phone…… or are these just coincidence?

  • You didn’t notice that when Boss Baby picks up a toy in the movie while explaining something to Tim, the toy he picked up was an action figure of the robot Voltron

    • Lol I screamed out “Voltron!!” when i saw it. (My bf and i were the only one’s in the theater)

  • The matrix land when they first go to baby corp. And the matrix jump that baby does in the car chase scene

  • Am I the only one who got thinking “who thought of this movie and how?” and then thought that this movie was about SIDs? Sudden infant death syndrome. Only certain ones are sent up. The baby’s only get a picture on the wall and never have to grow up? Some parents after that only have a puppy instead of another baby.
And i know the blackbird song is about the struggle black girl or some shit but also could be construed as someone going to heaven.
“Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these sunken eyes and learn to see All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free”.

    • Terra, I agree completely. I actually saw this in the theatre with my kids and left shocked at how bluntly they had sent that message. They even went so far as to erase any trace of the Boss Baby from the home when he, “left.”

Also you need to remember that the story was told from the viewpoint of an imaginative child, delivered in a taxi comes to mind. How else would a child explain the sudden disappearance of a sibling that no one else is talking about?

  • boss baby funny googoo gaagaa. Did yall catch the bit where jason derulo eats teh corn at lightning fast speed. I think its a reference to when jason derulo does a cat impression on the television hit “The Kelly Clarkson Show” (watch you tube clip for reference)
