Home » Sundance: They Came Together Interviews with Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Max Greenfield, Ellie Kemper & Jason Mantzoukas

If you like your comedies extra spoofy, you’ll love They Came Together, the latest outrageously funny collaboration from Wet Hot American Summer team, writer-director David Wain and writer Michael Showalter.

Set in New York and starring Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler, They Came Together is a rom-com spoof which follows what happens when Poehler’s indie sweet shop is threatened by the big, bad corporate candy store Rudd works for.

Flicks And The City caught up with the stars of the film at its Sundance premiere. Here’s what they had to say…

Check out the video to see Paul Rudd chat to us about how he came to be part of They Came Together, working with David Wain, Michael Showalter and Amy Poehler, how They Came Together compares to previous movies he’s made with David, and how much input and improv he does on his movies with David and Michael. Paul also talks to us about his excitement at starring in Ant-Man, what he thinks about Michael Douglas joining the cast, how much comedy we’ll see in the film, and his thoughts on rumours that Rashida Jones will be in the new Marvel movie:
