Home » Sundance: Life After Beth Interviews with Dane DeHaan, John C Reilly, Aubrey Plaza & More!

I Heart Huckabees writer Jeff Baena makes his feature film debut in the director’s chair with Life After Beth, a zombie movie which sees Parks & Rec’s Aubrey Plaza play Dane DeHaan’s reanimated girlfriend.

Flicks And The City spoke to the all-star cast of the film at its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Check out our videos to see what they had to say!

Dane DeHaan tells us about taking on his first comic role in Life After Beth, what he learned working with experienced comic actors such as John C Reilly and Aubrey Plaza, and what we can expect from 2014 summer blockbuster movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2:

John C Reilly chats to us about how Life After Beth stands out from other zombie movies, how working on indie movies like Life After Beth compares to big-budget blockbusters like Guardians of the Galaxy, how much fun he had making Guardians of the Galaxy, and what it’s like working with actors whose characters look radically different like Aubrey Plaza who plays zombie Beth in Life After Beth and Zoe Saldana who plays green-skinned alien Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy:

Aubrey Plaza tells us about getting zombie-fied for the lead role in Life After Beth, working with Dane DeHaan, John C Reilly and Molly Shannon, what it was like working with Johnny Depp on her next movie Mortdecai, and why she’s rooting for her character April to get pregnant in Parks & Rec:

Cheryl Hines & Matthew Gray Gubler chat about the appeal of Life After Beth, why it’s not just a zombie movie, and what it was like working with the cast including Aubrey Plaza, Dane DeHaan and John C Reilly, and they also joke about a Suburgatory and Criminal Minds TV crossover!
