Comic actress Alice Lowe teams up with fellow comedian Steve Oram and Kill List director Ben Wheatley to bring her first feature film as a writer to the big screen.

Sightseers is a dark horror comedy about a couple who go on a caravan holiday with a murderous difference.

The film is gala screening at this year’s BFI London Film Festival.

Check out the video to see Alice Lowe chat about family holidays, improv, and developing a film from a stage act.

Sightseers screens on 20 and 21 October.

The 56th BFI London Film Festival runs from 10 to 21 October 2012. Click here for more details.
