LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham blasted off for an out-of-this-world showcase at San Diego Comic Con 2014 with both an all-star panel taking place during the Con and the game available for the first consumer hands-on throughout the show!

Available this Autumn, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham sees the Caped Crusader join forces with the superheroes of the DC Comics Universe and head to outer space to stop the evil Brainiac from destroying Earth.

Flicks And The City grabbed the chance to sit down with some of the talented voice actors behind the characters we all know and love as well as game director Arthur Parsons to find out more. Take a look at our videos to see what they all had to say!

Troy Baker (Batman) chats about how much he enjoys San Diego Comic Con 2014, what it’s like playing Batman in LEGO Batman 3, his favourite lines in this game, jokes about how they did Superman and Batman first before Zack Snyder, why he loves playing the games, why he’d love to be Deathstroke, and whether voicing The Joker helped him voice Batman.

Game director Arthur Parsons talks about moving to the next level making LEGO Batman 3, introducing 1960s Batman to a new generation, the best thing about digging into the DC universe, stealth modes, how likely we are to see a Lego Batman 4 and what he’d like to see in it, and what the next gen hardware allowed them to do in the game that they’d not done before.

Josh Keaton (Green Lantern) & Scott Porter (Aquaman) chat about what it was like playing Green Lantern and Aquaman in LEGO Batman 3, the voice acting community, the favourite lines for their characters (including the Green Lantern oath), what it was like working together on LEGO Batman 3, which versions of their characters they’ve drawn inspiration from for Lego Batman 3, which other DC characters they’d love to play, what he’d like to see for their characters in LEGO Batman 4, and whether their characters have stealth modes.

And look out for Troy Baker video-bombing Josh & Scott!

Travis Willingham (Superman) & Laura Bailey (Wonder Woman) chat about their anticipation at playing LEGO Batman 3 for the first time, the appeal of the LEGO games, recording different voices for the same game, definitive versions of their characters, their favourite lines for Superman and Wonder Woman, what we can expect from LEGO Batman 3, favourite villains, and what it’s like being asked back to voice these iconic DC characters.

Plus, watch out for Troy Baker video-bombing Travis & Laura!

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is slated to release this Autumn on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Wii U, 3DS and PC.
