Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington, Merlin star Colin Morgan, Kingsman: The Secret Service star Taron Egerton, and director James Kent took part in a press conference for their new film Testament Of Youth ahead of its World Premiere at the London Film Festival last week.
A tale of love, war and remembrance, Testament Of Youth is based on Vera Brittain’s classic First World War memoir, and tells the true story of one young woman’s struggle to survive the horrors of war.
Alicia Vikander stars as the irrepressible, intelligent and free-minded Vera, who overcomes family prejudices to win a scholarship to Oxford. She falls in love with Roland (Kit Harington), a close friend of her brother Edward (Taron Egerton), as they set off for University to pursue their literary dreams. But the First World War is looming and the two boys along with their friend Victor (Colin Morgan) leave for the front.

Testament Of Youth is out in UK cinemas on 16 January 2015, with a US date TBC.
