The Karate Kid’s John Kreese was ‘just another heavy’ for actor Martin Kove when he took on the role in the early 80s.

Little did he know that martial arts teen movie would become so loved by generations of kids and adults.

During a recent visit to London Film and Comic Con, Martin chatted about his roles in The Karate Kid, Rambo, and Cagney & Lacey, and told me why he cried after filming the western Wyatt Earp.

Martin also chats about his love of westerns, meeting Sergio Leone, and his plans for a female-led vampire western:
