Interviews with Star Trek's Chris Pine, Isla Fisher, composer Alexandre Desplat, director Peter Ramsey at Rise of the Guardians UK premiere.

Tonight London’s Leicester Square was filled with fairytale magic for the UK premiere of DreamWorks’ latest animated movie, Rise of the Guardians, ahead of its release in UK cinemas on 30 November.

Based on William Joyce’s book The Guardians of Childhood, the film follows Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher), Jack Frost (Chris Pine), Santa Claus (Alec Baldwin), Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman) and the Sandman as they battle to save the world’s children from the nightmares which the bogeyman Pitch (Jude Law) is about to unleash.

I caught up with the cast and crew of Rise of the Guardians to see what they had to say about the movie. Check out the videos

Isla Fisher chats about fairy wings at weddings, fancy dress, and the appeal of playing the Tooth Fairy in Rise of the Guardians:

Chris Pine reveals whether he was on Santa’s naughty or nice list as a child, what he’d do if he were invisible like his character Jack Frost in Rise of the Guardians, and why he loved shooting Kenneth Branagh’s new movie Jack Ryan in London:

Isla Fisher and Chris Pine tell me what they enjoy about voice acting in animation:

Composer Alexandre Desplat talks about the inspiration behind his music for Rise of the Guardians, why he loves the Sandman, his own childhood memories, and working with director Kathryn Bigelow on her new film Zero Dark Thirty:

Director Peter Ramsey talks about how his experience as a storyboard artist for films such as Minority Report and Shark Tale helped him direct his first feature film, working with an all-star cast, and a possible Rise of the Guardians sequel:

Producer Christina Steinberg chats about developing Rise of the Guardians, working with first-time feature director Peter Ramsey, how producing animation compares to live-action movies, and whether she was on Santa’s naughty list as a child:
