Home » Quaithe Unmasked! Laura Pradelska on Melisandre, Tattoos & More!

“I am no-one, but she is the Mother of Dragons. She needs true protectors, now more than ever. They shall come day and night to see the wonder born into the world again. And when they see they shall lust… for dragons are fire made flesh… and fire is power.” So says the mysterious masked woman Quaithe to Ser Jorah Mormont about Danaerys Targaryen.

But who is this enigmatic woman we first meet in season 2? Flicks And The City caught up with the lovely Laura Pradelska, the actress behind Quaithe’s mask, to find out more about her character and work on the show.

Check out the video to see Laura chat about playing Quaithe, her links to Melisandre and advice to Daenerys, what she’s looking forward to in season 4, what it was like filming the tattoo scene in season 2, who her favourite characters are, why she’d like to bring back Irri (Amrita Acharia) on the show, how she’d survive in the GoT world, her Red Wedding reaction, and much more!
