Fintan McKeown on Amory Lorch & Death By Bear

He may only have been with us for four episodes, but actor Fintan McKeown left his mark on Game Of Thrones as Lannister bannerman and knight Amory Lorch.

During his time on the show, Lorch killed Night’s Watch recruiter Yoren while trying to track down Gendry, misdirected a Lannister letter to a vassal of House Stark, and was just a poison dart away from landing Arya in hot water after he discovered her with a letter stolen from Tywin.

This weekend at Collectormania, Flicks And The City caught up with Fintan to find out about his experience of working on the hit HBO show.

Check out our video to see Fintan tell us about his Game of Thrones horse Spikey, learning to ride for the show, working with Charles Dance and Maisie Williams, filming in dark caverns, what he thought about his death by poison dart, Amory vs the bear, who he’d bring back to life on the show, working with GoT co-star Mark Addy on BBC fantasy show Atlantis, and his role in the TV mini-series The Bible.

The Emmy-nominated mini-series The Bible makes its UK debut on Channel 5 on 30 November, and is available on Blu-ray and DVD from 26 December.
