The brand new trailer for Focus just launched and if you haven’t yet seen it check it out and my review below!

Will Smith and Margot Robbie star in the film Focus, a film that reminds me of a cross between the Oceans trilogy (with a lot less of a caper feel to it) and The Wolf of Wall Street, coincidentally a film Robbie herself starred in (and with less swearing and debauchery). The trailer just came out, and the film looks entertaining and interesting; the first 10 seconds of the trailer alone are intriguing as someone purposefully crashes into a car and the words con artist are mentioned.

Will Smith plays Nicky the leader of a large group of con artists, living the high life and generally enjoying the idea of living the lie in order to gain more for themselves. The title of the film ‘Focus’ seems to relate to the focus and attention to detail you need to get the job of the con done. It also looks like Nicky starts to lose that focus in a sense, due to his inevitable feelings and jealousy for Margot Robbie’s character, Jess who enters the group and proves a natural. As Nicky says “there’s no room for heart in this game, it’ll get you killed.”

The film looks slick with beautiful people, beautiful clothes all embroiled in the beautiful lie and I really like the concept of this movie. I really enjoyed Margot Robbie in Wolf of Wall Street so I’m looking forward to seeing her in another role. I’m not such a huge fan of Will Smith, but that being said I look forward to seeing Focus when it comes out in February next year!

Focus is released on 27 February 2015 and for more information follow the movie @FocusMovieUK and join the official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FocusMovieUK
