If you love a bit of Nordic noir, you’re in luck this month as director Kjell Sundvall revisits the characters from his popular Scandinavian thriller The Hunters in his latest film, False Trail, out in UK cinemas on 14 December.
Wallander and Sebastian Bergman star Rolf Lassgard returns to the big screen as Erik Backstrom, the National Murder Commission’s best interrogator, who was forced to leave the Norrland Police Department 15 years earlier but now finds himself back in his home town with orders to solve a brutal murder.
Expect sinister twists and turns as Fargo’s Peter Stormare joins Lassgard in the hunt to find the killer before s/he strikes again.
