After months of speculation, the new Doctor has finally been revealed!
Award-winning actor Peter Capaldi, known by many as the foul-mouthed spin doctor Malcolm Tucker in TV’s The Thick of It and its big-screen spin-off In The Loop, will be taking on the mantle of the 12th Doctor after current incumbent Matt Smith leaves the show in this year’s Christmas special.
Here at Flicks And The City, we can’t wait to see Peter emerge from the Tardis as the new Time Lord.
And looking back at our interview with Peter at last year’s British Independent Film Awards got us wondering if his role as a World Health Organisation (W.H.O) doctor in zombie movie World War Z may have been a little clue to his new time-travelling role?
