At this year’s London Film Festival, Flicks And The City’s Jan Gilbert caught up with actor Chiwetel Ejiofor to talk about starring in two films at this year’s festival, how working on Half Of A Yellow Sun compared to his experience on 12 Years A Slave, Oscar buzz surrounding 12 Years, his next film Z For Zachariah, and what his reaction would be if JJ Abrams asked him to be part of Star Wars Episode VII. Check out our video to see what Chiwetel had to say!

Starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Thandie Newton, Half Of A Yellow Sun is an adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel of the same name and follows the lives and loves of two sisters during Nigeria’s fight for independence in the 1960s.

And take a look at our video from the Half Of A Yellow Sun premiere, featuring interviews with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Joseph Mawle, Onyeka Onwenu, director Biyi Bandele, author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Babou Ceesay and producer Andrea Calderwood at the 2013 London Film Festival:
