Antiviral Premiere at the BFI London Film Festival
Writer-director Brandon Cronenberg’s first feature film, Antiviral, is set in a future where obsessed fans get closer to their favourite celebrities by being infected with germs from their idols at special clinics.
One young celebrity whose germs are very much in demand is Hannah Geist, played by Sarah Gadon (Cosmopolis).
But Hannah’s latest illness looks a lot more serious than a common cold. Now it’s up to Syd March, a clinic employee and black market celebrity germ dealer, to find out what’s going on.
